Probably Stolen Release Date: October 28, 2026
Probably Stolen is planned for October 28, 2026 on Steam for Windows. A free demo went live on September 14 and the open playtest ended that day.

Probably Stolen is planned for October 28, 2026 on Steam, and the system requirements list Windows.
Two places corroborate that date: the Release Date field on the Steam store page, and the developer’s official announcement on September 14, 2026, which says “It is launching on October 28th!”.
The store page still reads “Planned Release Date”, so treat it as a planned date. No unlock time has been given either.
What you can play right now is the free demo (Steam app 4349200), which went live on September 14 alongside the date reveal. The open playtest ended the same day.
The demo is not the playtest renamed
The demo page lists what it adds over the playtest:
- Three starting scenarios plus hardcore mode
- The Water Merchant scenario starts with water testing and purification kit
- One new machine and one matching new item
- A new item, the Toolbox, that stores tools and equips them on keys 1-9
- The Bottle Printer can now be upgraded with electronic parts
- The Vacuum Robot can be upgraded with a common electronic to unlock built-in incineration
- Everything from the playtest period carries over: multi-item selection, right-click sorting, non-16:9 support and localisation fixes
So early gameplay footage you find online is probably not the build you can install today.

How to verify it yourself
Two steps are enough:
- Open the Steam store page and check whether the Release Date field still says Oct 28, 2026.
- Open the news hub and check whether the newest announcement mentions a delay.
The store page has no price and no user reviews, and the recommended specs are blank. That is normal for an unreleased game, not a broken page.
Still unannounced
- The unlock time and whether preloading exists.
- The price and any launch discount.
- Whether all five trade paths are playable at release. The chemist path is listed as one of them, but players could not select it in the demo.
- The soundtrack (Steam app 5113870) only says “2026” with no specific date. It is a separate product from the game.
